I’m Irvine a
Certified Life
Coach

by official training through Light University of Virginia Life Coach Training and Certification Program. But long before my certification I have been living the preparatory life for a successful Life Coach. Here’s why: In addition to my earlier experiences, after leaving Citi Bank in Jamaica I went into Industry as Executive Vice President of a large plastic products manufacturing company. I led that company out of Receivership and later left, still remaining a Director, and started a career as a livestock farmer. My aim was to help the Country preserve and or earn foreign exchange by reducing importation of food or exporting products that earned foreign exchange. In the process I became closer to the Prime Minister and served as advisor to several Cabinet Ministers. I became a Director and Chairman of several companies, both privately owned and government owned. Concurrently I developed my livestock farming business into a multimillion dollar enterprise.

Then, a new government was elected, and policies and priorities changed. Crime increased, noticeably successful people were openly physically attacked, and the government at that time showed little interest in reestablishing the safety of citizens in their homes. In that environment my family chose to sacrifice our home and business and emigrate to the USA.

The Holy Spirit led us to Atlanta. We knew no one there. After being at the top, we were at the bottom. I could not get a Job, and we had three teen aged children in High School. My wife and I did not despair. The Spirit was with me. I became a self-coach and the family motivator and gradually built a trucking company where we employed several people who now own businesses. Our daughters and grandson have master’s degrees and our son is a business owner. Our grand daughters are graduating college this year. I thought I had everything and lost it. My family and I rebuilt a better life with the help of the Holy Spirit and with confidence in each other. I closed my business ten years ago, and started writing while refreshing my skills as a graduate student at Clayton State University in Atlanta GA. I earned a master’s in health administration and now have two books published, several Blogs and a Course for new business entrepreneurs.

Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
